First time climbing up the stairs

We don't have any stairs in our house so when we were staying at Chris and Ela's this past weekend Anna learned to climb up - down still is a problem. She had a lot of fun doing it.

First time pulling/standing up

During our last weekend in Germany (while we were Dodo's wedding- so my parents first witnessed it) Anna started pulling up on furniture and standing up! Nothing is safe anymore!

First time in Austria

Yesterday we took a day trip to Austria with Marion to visit Uli, Barbara and Fini, who were vacationing in the Austrian Alps. Though the weather was anything but perfect, we rose to the challenge and gave Anna a first impression of "real" hiking.

It was so cold up there, that Anna had to borrow a sweater from Fini. What a great color mix!

First time crawling

The day before we left for our trip to Germany Anna decided it was time to start crawling (resulting in many falls while on my parents' tile floor).

First time food with a spoon

Tonight we fed Anna for the first time rice cereal (Reisflocken) and the did pretty well. She opened the mouth for us and though she spat some out, she also swallowed quite a bit. She was very interested in catching the spoon.
