Yummy, feet!

First bathing suit and first time at Barton Springs

On Friday Anna went to the pool for the first time, sporting her first bathing suit! Well, it's still a bit large so we had a minor wardrobe malfunction...

Barton Springs is a natural spring and is on average 68 F degrees year round (about 20 C), so kind of cold. Anna didn't mind but at this point we only dipped her feet in.

While at work today I got a call from Nathan saying that Anna had rolled from her back to her stomach. He came back into the living room and found her "stranded" on her belly. She can't roll from stomach to back yet and is not that coordinated with her limbs - just look at her arm stuck behind! She has been practising the last few days but I didn't think it would happen so quickly. Smart child - didn't let anybody witness her big milestone!

More hiking

On Sunday we went to Hamilton Pool. It was a beautiful day but not quite yet warm enough for swimming. This was actually quite a bit more hiking than the week before - and our picnic was more proper.

In order to get to your picnic rock, we had to climb a bit. Anna too..

But we made it.

Walking makes tired!
